i took a video of a freight train in southern idaho and really liked the color that was on it. so, through a long process of capturing stills of each and every train car i converted it to a striped background (if you look closely you'll see that each stripe in the background of the image corresponds directly to one of the 67 train cars in the video. they're also in order.)

Where the hell do you get all the time to do all these artsy little experiments of yours?
These are very cool, Dusty.
We should collaborate soon.
Jeremy: i have no idea where i get the time. this one was completely spur of the moment. i was driving back to logan from rexburg one weekend. i was speeding down the highway watching the clock and my gps completely obsessed with "making good time". i saw this train and said to myself, "why not?!" I seriously pulled off onto the shoulder of the road at about 60 miles per hour, screeched to a halt in a cloud of dust, grabbed the fan and my camera and sprinted to get in position before the train arrived. does that answer your question?
Jesse: Thanks man!
Christy: Yes, lets.
